The brief
Why this appointment exists
Introd’s network effect is not simply “more users create more value.”
The product becomes stronger when it has sufficient relationship density, fresh evidence, appropriate permission, trusted connectors, relevant missions, and successful outcomes. The wrong growth can make the network noisier rather than more useful.
We want an advisor who has built, invested in, researched, or scaled a network, marketplace, graph product, community platform, CRM, recruiting platform, or data-rich product.
The work
Advisory contribution
- Challenge Introd’s network-effect assumptions
- Help define the atomic network and initial market wedge
- Review activation, retention, density, and liquidity measures
- Pressure-test the relationship between individual and team value
- Advise on permissions, trust, incentives, and connector behavior
- Review major product and category decisions
- Mentor the founding product and growth team
- Identify structural risks before they become growth problems
- Contribute to selected strategic reviews without becoming a ceremonial name

Candidate evidence
Describe a network or marketplace you helped build or evaluate: its initial atomic network, cold-start problem, the liquidity or retention measure that mattered, one assumption the team got wrong, and what you would challenge first about Introd.
No implied promise
Future governance
Exceptional advisory contribution may create familiarity relevant to future governance discussions. It does not create a promise, expectation, or automatic path to the board.
Clear boundaries
Appointment terms
- This is an advisory appointment, not employment, and will have a written scope, confidentiality obligations, conflict disclosure, and IP treatment where relevant.
- If options are granted, they will use time-based vesting and remain subject to formal approval and applicable valuation requirements.
- There is no compensation purely for introductions and no guaranteed board seat, observer right, executive title, or future employment.
Contribution and ownership
Ownership should follow contribution.
Introd is being built by people who think and act like owners. Depending on the opportunity, commitment, applicable law, and formal approval, compensation may include stock options subject to the company’s equity plan, vesting terms, exercise conditions, and required corporate approvals.
A founding title describes the stage and level of contribution. It does not by itself create founder, officer, director, shareholder, or governance status.
A wider field of view
Bring the path that brought you here
The strongest teams are built by people with different histories, perspectives, and ways of seeing a problem. Introd considers qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
If the work sounds like yours but your background does not match every conventional pattern, we still want to hear from you.
