Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Introd Technologies Inc. ("Introd", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information on getintrod.ai, through our public request, demo, contact, API waitlist, newsletter, and support experiences, and through any Introd service that links to this policy. A signed customer agreement or data processing addendum may add terms for a particular workspace; that agreement controls if it conflicts with this policy.

2. Information we collect

The information depends on the experience you choose to use:

• Access requests: full name, work email, LinkedIn profile URL, role, selected goals, source information, and your privacy and optional marketing choices.
• Demo requests: name, work email, company, role, team size, area of interest, and your privacy and optional marketing choices.
• Contact inquiries: name, email, subject, and the message you write. The contact form does not enroll you in marketing.
• API waitlist: email and, if you provide them, company and estimated monthly volume, plus your privacy and optional marketing choices.
• Newsletter: email and the consent required to deliver the subscription.
• Support: contact details, conversation content, and limited page or device context when you choose to use an enabled support messenger or contact us directly.
• Browser extension: the linked Introd and LinkedIn account identifiers, profiles and connections you explicitly import, supported person-profile details from capture controls you separately opt into, sync progress and errors, and the warm-path or introduction actions you choose. Current-profile capture and supported people-discovery capture are separate controls, and both are off by default. People-discovery capture is limited to LinkedIn people search, company People subpages, and supported My Network discovery pages. Feeds, comments, and messaging are not observed. The extension does not send a LinkedIn message or introduction on your behalf.

Public forms also attach a randomly generated browser identifier, form source, first- and last-touch campaign fields, referring origin and path, and landing path. Attribution deliberately excludes query strings, URL fragments, names, email addresses, and form-message text. A receiving server may also record limited request metadata, such as time, network address, user agent, and abuse-prevention results.

If you use an Introd account or paid service, we may also handle the account, workspace, integration, usage, support, and billing information needed for that service, subject to the product behavior and agreement that apply to you.

3. Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you, from your browser or device when you use the site, from campaign links and referring pages, and from services you deliberately connect or use. Please do not submit another person's sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.

4. How we use information

• Receive, verify, review, and respond to your request or inquiry.
• Send a newsletter or marketing message only when the relevant choice permits it.
• Operate, troubleshoot, protect, and prevent abuse of the website and service.
• Understand which campaigns and pages lead to voluntarily submitted requests.
• Measure site and form performance when optional analytics consent is active.
• Provide account, workspace, support, and billing functions that you request.
• Build the relationship graph you authorize, calculate warm paths, and process an introduction request only after you submit it.
• Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Choices and legal bases

Where law requires a legal basis, the basis may be your consent, steps you ask us to take before a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, or a legal obligation. Privacy acknowledgement is required to submit a form. Marketing is a separate, optional choice on access, demo, and API waitlist forms; contact inquiries are not marketing subscriptions. A newsletter request necessarily includes permission to send that newsletter. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message.

6. Sharing and service providers

We disclose information to providers that help operate the receiving API, hosting, email delivery, support, analytics, billing, security, and other requested service functions. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, in a corporate transaction, when you direct us to, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect people, rights, and systems. Provider access should be limited to the function being performed. Contact us for the providers relevant to a particular service.

The current public-site analytics configuration denies advertising storage, advertising-user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals. Optional analytics and support tools remain off until consent is granted.

Intercom operates the optional public support Messenger and its Fin AI support assistant. If you use it, Intercom processes the conversation and limited browser or page context needed to provide support. The public-site boot sends no account ID, name, email, or custom attributes and does not expose the Introd relationship graph. Fin is not a person, and you can ask for a human teammate or use help@getintrod.ai instead.

7. International processing

Introd and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. The locations and transfer safeguards depend on the provider and customer arrangement. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, we use the mechanism appropriate to that arrangement. Contact us for current, service-specific information; this page does not claim certification under a particular transfer framework.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the request, service, security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes that apply to it. The period varies by record and customer arrangement; we do not promise a universal deletion or backup schedule on this page. Browser attribution is held in session storage for the current tab session before a form is submitted. When a form is submitted, the attribution included with it becomes part of the durable request record. The first-party optional-cookie choice lasts for up to one year unless you replace or delete it. 9. Security

We use safeguards intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No service is completely secure. We publish only controls and certifications for which current evidence and scope are available; see our Security page or email security@getintrod.ai for current documentation or to report a concern.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or an appeal, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@getintrod.ai. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by the law that applies. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change optional-cookie consent. The site treats an enabled Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal as a denial of optional analytics and support-chat cookies.

11. Children

Introd is intended for business users and is not directed to children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact privacy@getintrod.ai so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as practices or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
